EVERY-DAY STRESS

The everyday stresses (microtraumas - insignificant irritations, fears, insults etc.) may be accumulated and make a considerable impact on one’s mentality, physical health and relations. These “trifles” are especially dangerous that they “undermine” us imperceptibly, like the drop does with the stone.

It is easy to describe stress, pressure and alarm of signing the new contract or on faithlessness. But who will think that the source of stress is, let’s say, daily reactions to excessive cleanliness of the partner or in delay because of traffic jams or … - for certain you can give many more examples without even thinking about it.

It is simple enough to recognize your everyday stressors. It will be enough to write down all the events which cause emotions in you (including pleasant ones) and your reaction to them during a week. Looking through this list you will find out a surprising thing: you regularly lose your temper in the same situations which may seem to be trifling. There are rarely more than three of such sources of daily stress - even though they are so to say “hidden”, happening at various times, in different situations and with different people. 

In stress surfing we call the stress which raises from such micro traumas THE FOAM - by analogy to the foam of breakers which every surfer goes through. It is also possible to ride on such waves :) Moreover, it is the best idea to learn the surfing techniques at first on the foam of everyday trifles.

Even the smallest wave has whole ocean behind it.
