Stress Surfing use an active (aggressive) energy of stress to discover one’s values, develop capacities and to satisfy needs. This skill is useful for everyone who ever experienced stress. Certainly, Surfing is a beautiful metaphor that changes your attitude to stress. But, first of all, it is practice - so, reading and understanding is not enough. Do not just relay on any of our ideas. Try them on storms of daily life – this is the only way to know how effective Stress Surfing is for you and to make mature conclusions. It is impossible to learn walking or talking, fastening laces or reading, playing the violin or surfing persistent daily practice. Would be crazy to expect learning ideas and techniques or even intensive trainings will change something. You can change your life only and only by means of persistent practice. However, just like in sports, there is no use in being too serious. Remember that the best surfer is the one who receives more pleasure from riding :) |
